At NodeXX, we take cybersecurity very seriously. To protect your account, our security team has prepared a list of recommendations on how to enhance your account security.
1. Set a Strong Password and Change It Regularly
The essential first step to protecting your NodeXX account is to set a strong password. The password should be complex and unique, with a minimum length of 8 characters. It should also include uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
It is best not to include your name, email name, birthday, phone number, or other easily accessible information.
You can further enhance your account security by changing your password regularly, and each new password should be completely different. Additionally, never share your password with others; NodeXX staff will never ask you for your password.
If you need to update your password, you can refer to this article.
2. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
When you create a NodeXX account, you need to use at least one form of two-factor authentication (2FA) to protect your account. NodeXX supports three types of two-factor authentication (2FA): SMS 2FA, email 2FA, and Google Authenticator.
We recommend using Google Authenticator at a minimum.
3. Stay Alert for Phishing
Phishing is a type of cyberattack where malicious actors impersonate reputable entities or companies to trick people into revealing sensitive information—such as credit card details, usernames, passwords, and more. Because phishing involves psychological manipulation and relies on human error (rather than hardware or software), it is considered a social engineering attack.
It is recommended to always access NodeXX through saved bookmarks to avoid manually typing the address each time you log in. If NodeXX’s official website is not in your bookmarks, please add the following link immediately: https://www.nodexx.co/en. This simple measure can protect your account from many fake websites.

4. Protect Your Devices
We do not recommend installing unnecessary software or software from untrusted developers on your devices. Remove any apps or browser extensions you do not need, and only install applications and devices necessary to access sensitive information.
Whenever possible, consider using dedicated devices or partitions for NodeXX and trading. You can also ensure device security by keeping your devices updated. If your browser, operating system, and applications are outdated, your device will be more vulnerable to security issues.
5. Secure Your Internet Connection
Whenever possible, use a wired network. If you must use a wireless network, especially a public one, consider using a Virtual Private Network (VPN).
Others on the same network may be able to view data sent through your device, potentially leading to security vulnerabilities. A VPN encrypts your internet traffic by rerouting it through its network servers, preventing anyone—including the network owner—from snooping on your data.
